Net Promoter Score, customer satisfaction and mystery shopping
Three flagship customer experience research programmes for Tanzania’s largest bank: NPS tracking with driver analysis, CSAT measurement across products and service points, and scenario-based mystery shopping across the branch, agent and digital channel network. All reported through live dashboards while fieldwork was still running.
Data analytics training and mentorship
A structured analytics programme for bank staff, taught on the bank’s own data rather than sample datasets, with one-to-one mentorship running alongside the taught modules so participants could apply each technique to live work as they learned it.
Data strategy for five central banks
Design and delivery of data strategy engagements for five central banks: the National Bank of Ethiopia, Reserve Bank of Fiji, Reserve Bank of Malawi, Central Bank of Samoa and Reserve Bank of Vanuatu. Each covered the institution’s data architecture, the supervisory data it collects and how, the gap between that and what supervision actually requires, and a sequenced roadmap to close it. Evidence was gathered from internal stakeholders and supervised institutions through surveys, interviews and focus groups, with stratified sampling across sectors and roles and CAPI face-to-face fieldwork.
Data-driven and gender-smart product design
Assessment of one bank and one microfinance institution to understand how they use data to design gender-responsive products for women and women-led MSMEs, and work with selected financial service providers to pilot a roadmap for gender-smart product design.
Root cause analysis of maternal and neonatal deaths, Kigoma Region
Study design, field data collection and analysis identifying the causes behind maternal and newborn deaths, producing evidence for regional and national health decision-making.
Online learning platform for nurses and midwives
A digital continuing-education platform supporting nurses and midwives nationally, with usage and completion analytics for programme managers.
SupTech implementation
Implementing supervisory technology to change how the central bank collects and analyses data from six financial institutions, replacing manual returns with an automated pipeline and real-time analytics.
Data architecture diagnostics in Ethiopia, Fiji, Malawi, Samoa and Vanuatu
Launched in October 2022, an extensive programme of data architecture diagnostic assessments for financial sector authorities across Africa and the Pacific, establishing what each institution held, what it could not yet answer, and what to build first.
